It is a piston filler with an excellent broad point, massive 14K two toned gold nib. A beautiful fountain pen, called the cigar for its size, in perfect condition. Excellent pen, no cracks or scratches. It has been gently used but there are only miniscule signs of wear which polishing would remove. It is an imposing pen with great presence. Black precious resin with gold trim. Nib size: B, in two tone 14K gold with a modicum of flex. The Montblanc fountain pen 149 Piston Filler in its Montblanc Case with sleeve.
