MONTBLANC MEISTERSTÜCK K20 IN DARK GREEN - VERY RARE, NICELY PRESERVED MODEL. Rare, lovely small Montblanc n° K20 fountain pen from the early 1930's in hard green rubber (ebonite). One of the rare Meisterstück without a clip - a smaller sister of the n° 30 (1931-34, a larger contemporary, also with 2 rings, but with a clip), and which seemingly inspired the slightly later model n° 220 (1935-36), nearly identical to the K20 but with a single ring. (The "K" signifies a shorter version). A beautiful, small sized nib, firm but slightly beveled even though marked as "EF" on push-knob. Montblanc Gold "WARRANTED 14C" Series III - "a" nib (original from early 30's - feels and writes like a small, semi-flex Stub, very smooth). Length Barrel / + Nib. BLANC (mountain insignia) on cap (center slightly worn).

On cap, what appears to be a company logo (my guess) or monograph - a small, discrete imprint of a highly stylized old script "JRE"? In a circle (see photos for enlarged view). "K20" and "EF" on push-knob. Very Good - Good - Poor / Parts.
