For sale is one new-old-stock: Montblanc Meisterstück Hommage à W. Fountain Pen (small size), model 1145; made in France/Germany.

Includes Service Guide, Polishing Cloth, Gift-Box, and CD. This is a genuine product. 1 This pen is in overall very good, unused condition, though it was on display for some time. There is a very faint surface scuff on the upper part of the engraving area of the cap. The photographs exaggerate surface imperfections but the gold is actually quite brilliant in person.

Wear is superficial and there is no plating damage. Condition is certainly better than what may be expected with ordinary use.

The'M Germany' sticker is still on the barrel. 2 Box has shelf wear.

Label has some damage from a price sticker being peeled away. 3 The pen is an earlier production. But does feature the Pix inscription under the clip, which was introduced circa 1997. Clip bears serial'XMxxxxxxx FRANCE' on the band.

4 This model is often listed as having both a vermeil cap and barrel; however, there is no silver hallmark on the barrels so I presume only the caps are actually vermeil. This does not mean they aren't vermeil, only that I cannot confirm it.

The Meisterstück Hommage à W. Fountain pen honors the great composer with a design that is distinctively Montblanc. It features a pinstripe pattern with gold-coated barrel and vermeil cap. The medium nib is 18K yellow gold. The iconic Montblanc snowcap finial completes it. Closed-length 113 millimeters (4.44 inches). Open-length with cap on end 119.5 millimeters (4.70 inches).
